The Sri Lankan Professionals Association in the UAE (SLPA-UAE) celebrated a significant milestone in June 2024, marking its first anniversary as a registered professional association. On June 1st, 2024, members of SLPA-UAE, along with their families and fellow member associations, gathered for a memorable social event. The celebration took place aboard a stunning yacht cruising around Dubai Marina, creating unforgettable memories for all attendees.
This historic event, the first social gathering organized by SLPA-UAE since its inception, provided a fantastic opportunity to meet some of the founding members. A special thanks goes to Ceylon Bakers for the delicious food and to Dubai Lanka News Channel for the excellent media coverage. We also extend our gratitude to Janaka Dandeniya for his timely support in arranging the yacht facility.
