We are pleased to announce that the Sri Lankan Bankers Association (SLBA) has joined the Sri Lankan Professionals Association in the UAE (SLPA). The inclusion of SLBA marks a significant milestone in our professional community, further enriching our diverse portfolio and fostering collaborative endeavors within the Sri Lankan professional diaspora.
SLBA officially became a member of SLPA during the 4th Annual General Meeting held on September 3rd, 2023, at the Novotel Hotel, Deira City Center, Dubai. With this new addition, SLPA now boasts a total of eight professional member associations, showcasing the growing synergy and collective strength of our community.
We extend our warmest congratulations to SLBA and its esteemed members. We are confident that SLBA will thrive within our association, contributing its unique expertise and insights to our collective endeavors.
We would like to acknowledge the first President of SLBA, Isthiaq Raziq, along with Savanthie Fernando and Razmydeen M.I., who are the inaugural Executive Committee members of SLBA. Their dedication and leadership will undoubtedly shape the future trajectory of SLPA within our community.
