The Sri Lankan Professionals Association (SLPA) in the UAE proudly launched its inaugural Cricket Carnival 2024 on 10th November 2024 at ½Wallnut Restaurant, Aloft Hotel, Al Mina, Dubai.
The exciting event featured the match draw, jersey presentation, and trophy unveiling, attended by sponsors, team captains, SLPA board members, SLPA LLC Directors, Top-Knock International (event manager), and Dubai Lanka TV (media partner).
– Jersey Presentation: Sponsors presented jerseys to all 28 team captains.
– Match Draw: Top-Knock grouped 20 men’s teams into four groups and eight women’s teams into two.
– Trophy Unveiling: A grand reveal of the rolling trophies marked the start of a new tradition.

With representation from 11 professional associations, two diplomatic teams (Sri Lankan Embassy and Consulate General), and SAHANA, the evening concluded with networking over light refreshments.
