Sri Lankan Hospitality Professionals Association in the UAE (SLHPA-UAE) and Sri Lankan Information Technology Professionals Association in the UAE (SLITPA-UAE) join SLPA-UAE

Sri Lankan Professionals Association in the United Arab Emirates (SLPA-UAE) welcomes Sri Lankan Hospitality Professionals Association in the UAE (SLHPA-UAE) and Sri Lankan Information Technology Professionals Association in the UAE (SLITPA-UAE) as new member associations; growing its member associations count to seven. These inclusions are as a part of the continuing expansion strategy of the SLPA-UAE encouraging and steering other Sri Lankan professional organisations in the UAE to become members of the SLPA for the benefit of Sri Lankan professionals in the UAE.

Both the SLHPA-UAE and SLITPA-UAE are having a combined membership strength over 250 members; which is expected to grow as both sectors are holding opportunities for further expansion in the present UAE market. This is a welcome addition to the SLPA-UAE, increasing their number of member associations gradually in achieving SLPA-UAE’s vision of becoming the leading institution for the advancement of Sri Lankan professionals and empowering them to perform at the highest standard of professional conduct, thereby improving the brand of Sri Lankan Professionals in the UAE.

Following successful completion of the mandatory documentation process, both organisations were admitted to the SLPA-UAE as member organisations prior to the SLPA Second Annual General Meeting held on 22 May 2021.
