The recently concluded Future Ready Networking Event, hosted by the Sri Lankan Professionals Association in the UAE (SLPA-UAE), was a proud moment of unity, gratitude, and reflection.
We were honoured by the presence of Her Excellency Professor Arusha Cooray, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the UAE, whose inspiring words and presence added grace to the occasion.
The evening also marked a heartfelt farewell to two distinguished diplomats:

Ms. Dinithi Weerasena – Head of Chancery & First Secretary
Their tireless service and strong support to the Sri Lankan professional community in the UAE were recognised with tokens of appreciation, presented by the SLPA Executive Committee.
Our Chairman, Mr. Duminda Dissanayaka, shared key milestones of SLPA’s impactful journey and ongoing collaboration with the Sri Lankan Embassy and Consul General’s Office.
SLPA-UAE remains one of the largest Sri Lankan professional networks outside Sri Lanka—empowering professionals, fostering collaboration, and supporting national economic progress.
