We are delighted to announce that two distinguished members of the Sri Lankan Professionals Association in the UAE (SLPA-UAE) have been appointed as Sri Lanka Conference Ambassadors under the prestigious Sri Lanka Conference Ambassador Programme (SLCAP), launched in the UAE on 29th April 2025.
Mr. Ajantha Premarathne, Founding Chairman of SLPA-UAE, and Mr. Isthiaq Raziq, Executive Board Member of SLPA-UAE and President of the Sri Lankan Bankers Association in the UAE, have been selected among ten eminent Sri Lankan professionals for the 2025/26 cycle.
The SLCAP, initiated by the Consulate General of Sri Lanka to Dubai and Northern Emirates in collaboration with Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, SLCB, and SriLankan Airlines, aims to position Sri Lanka as a global hub for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE). The appointed ambassadors play a key role in promoting Sri Lanka’s MICE potential through professional networks, strategic partnerships, and international stakeholder engagement.
