The 5th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Sri Lankan Professionals Association (SLPA) in the United Arab Emirates will take place virtually on Wednesday, 28th August.
During this meeting, the annual progress report and financial report will be presented, and new ideas and proposals will be discussed.
Formed on 28 May 2019, the SLPA was established through the collaboration of four Sri Lankan professional associations in the UAE. It has since expanded to include eight associations: the Institute of Incorporated Engineers Sri Lanka (IIESL-UAE), the Institute of Quantity Surveyors Sri Lanka (IQSSL-UAE), Post Graduate Institute of Management Alumni (PIMA-UAE), Sri Lankan Quantity Surveyors in the UAE (SLQS-UAE), the Association of Quantity Surveyors of the University of Moratuwa (QSUM-UAE), Sri Lankan Information Technology Professionals Association (SLITPA-UAE), Sri Lankan Hospitality Professionals Association (SLHPA-UAE), and the Sri Lankan Bankers Association (SLBA-UAE).
The SLPA’s main objectives are to uphold the highest professional standards among Sri Lankan professionals, promote their advancement, facilitate coordination and interaction, and enhance Sri Lanka’s brand through professional excellence.
