Dear UAE Leadership and the People of the United Arab Emirates,

On behalf of the Sri Lankan Professionals Association (SLPA) and all our member associations, we stand united today to express our deepest gratitude, unwavering solidarity, and heartfelt support to the UAE and its leadership during these challenging times.

The United Arab Emirates has always been more than a place of work for us, it is our second home. This great nation has opened its doors to thousands of Sri Lankans, offering us opportunity, dignity, safety, and a sense of belonging. The warmth, generosity, and visionary leadership of the UAE has touched the lives of our entire community in ways we can never fully repay.

We remember with deep gratitude the pivotal role the UAE played in supporting Sri Lanka during difficult times, including the critical assistance extended during the Ditwah crisis. True friendship is remembered not only in moments of celebration but also in moments of adversity, and today, we choose to stand firmly by your side.
